About Julie
Where Spirituality Meets Creativity
Julie Secher Kau has always been immersed in creative energy. As a Graphic Designer and Art Director in the advertising world, she spent years shaping brand narratives and visual identities.
Born into a family of remarkably artistic women, Julie's curiosity about life and human nature led her to embrace creativity as a way of being. Yet, as she grew older, the yearning for something more profound intensified—a longing not just to create beauty but to infuse it with meaning.
This inner pull led her on a transformative journey. Determined to understand herself, her patterns, and the world at a deeper level, she became a spiritual psychotherapist. It was here that the first seeds of Unleash Cph were planted. Through deep inner work, Julie envisioned a brand where aesthetics and spirituality intertwined—a space where gemstones, sacred symbols, and natural materials could carry intention and energy.
Then, in a single, serendipitous moment, everything changed.
During a walk with her dog, she crossed paths with an older man and his majestic Irish Wolfhound, adorned with an amber necklace. The encounter left an imprint on her soul. She couldn’t stop thinking about the untamed beauty of that image—an animal wearing something both powerful and meaningful. In that instant, the vision for Unleash Cph was born: a brand that celebrates the connection between dogs, humans, and nature through exquisite, intentional design.
Not long after, her first collection of dog accessories came to life, merging craftsmanship with spirituality, luxury with soul. The rest is history.
Today, Julie lives north of Copenhagen with her family and her beloved Jack Russell, Bodil, where she continues to create, explore, and deepen the connection between art, nature, and the spirit.
